Child, Family & Community Services, Inc. is a non-profit corporation providing education and family support services to qualified families living in Alameda County. The programs of CFCS currently serve almost 3000 families every year at 16 program sites located in 5 cities. The agency administrative headquarters is conveniently located between Fremont and Union City in the historic district of Niles. The Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) is less than a mile away with easy access to additional public transportation.

Position Title:
Teachers Pre-school
Position Description:

Child, Family and Community Services, Inc. is seeking dynamic and experienced Teachers to work with children in our Head Start Pre-school Program (ages 3-5).
Responsibilities include planning, implementing and monitoring a comprehensive childhood development program that meets all Head Start Performance Standards for an assigned group of children and families.

Qualifications / Skills:

  • A.A. in Early Childhood Education preferred or Child Development Associate credential.
  • A minimum of 24 ECE units
  • Experience in working with young children.
  • Experience with diverse cultures and families.

Position Title:
Teachers Infants/Toddlers
Position Description:

Child, Family and Community Services, Inc. is seeking dynamic and experienced Teachers to work with children in our Early Head Start Infants/Toddlers Program (ages birth-3).
Responsibilities include planning, implementing and monitoring a comprehensive childhood development program that meets all Head Start Performance Standards for an assigned group of children and families.

Qualifications / Skills:

  • A.A. in Early Childhood Education preferred or Child Development Associate credential.
  • A minimum of 24 ECE units
  • Experience in working with young children.
  • Experience with diverse cultures and families.

Teacher Assistants:
  • Assist Teachers in our Head Start Pre-School (ages 3-5) and Early Head Start Infants/Toddlers (ages birth-3) Programs
  • Minimum of 12 units in Early Childhood Education/Development
  • Bilingual Spanish strongly preferred
  • Experience working with young children and diverse families
